Tonight

Walking down busy streets

In downtown California

Hand in hand

We walk in time

With our heart beats

But we miss it

We miss the snow

The edge

And grim

Of New York

Of the busy streets there

But with you

I'd go anywhere

Take me anywhere

I want it all with you

It's getting dark outside

And my hand

Finds yours

Fingers locked

Like a puzzle

That was always made to match

We're doing good

We're find

Breathe in

Then out

I walk these days

Without much holding me down

Jeans fit better

Then they did last year

I dream

With nothing to fear

I hold myself closer to you

Because tonight

Nothing is going to get us

Tonight

It's all about you and me

Smile

Just because I can

Because it feels good

Laugh outloud

Because I haven't wanted to

In awhile

I run

I dance

Without music

I dance with you

To no music

In our kitchen

In the living room

I'll dance whenever

You and me

Because tonight

Nothing is going to get us

The moon

Holds us snug and tight

Under these covers

It feels right

Just so good

You love me

The way a lover should

You kiss me

And my skin comes awake

Nothing is going to take you away

Nothing is going to break

What we have now

You and me

For better

Or worse

You and me baby

You and me are good

We're fine

And tonight

Nothing

No one

Is going to get us
