Tonight I dream

Tonight I'll dream. Tonight I'll dream of an identity that was promised me. Puzzles come into place and everything seems clear. Yet I find myself falling off the edge, hanging on by a single thread. Tonight I dream because my dream has been reduced to dollars and cents. I'm sold on a dream that can be achieved. Toe through a threshold of sitting dreams. Waiting to be captured and turned to realities. You can only get so far when you coast on missed opportunity. I choose not to be that, but it's still a matter of dollars and cents. Wishing could never buy time. Wishing without action is time wasted. You can only get so far on dreams. Tonight I dream, but hopefully tomorrow these dreams will be a reality.
