Tonight (Maybe I'll Show You)

Tonight... I'll release the pain!

Tonight... I'll show you who I am!

A sight... I'm afraid to let you see!

A fright... A monster of a man!

I've been trying for so long to let them see,

All of this sadness inside of me.

But too terrified to set it free,

It remains inside, on my memories it feeds.

Tonight... Maybe you'll learn!

Insight... Into the real me!

Tonight... Together we'll burn!

Don't fright... The fire will set us free!

I've been trying for so long to let them see, All of this madness inside of me. You'll be terrified if I set it free, So I keep it inside, on my heart it feeds.  But tonight... Maybe we'll cry! And tonight... Maybe I'll let them inside! But tonight... I won't let the evil die! Because tonight... It'll be my only source of pride!  Maybe tomorrow, you'll show me, Some kind of love, Or desire to set myself free! But for tonight... You're welcome to come in... Just don't take flight... When I show you where I've been!

I've been trying for so long to set them free,

All of these voices and memories inside of me.

But I'm terrified to let you see,

Because everyone else decided to leave...
