Too Cute to Cut

I have been so depressed at times that I have thought about cutting myself Then I thought where would I do it? My legs; no, they are too long and beautiful to scar My wrists; no, the veins that run through me are too beautiful to scar My foot; no, the way I walk is too beautiful to scar Maybe I should just cut my face so the pain that you have caused can never go unnoticed But no because what I see in the mirror is WAY too beautiful to scar I guess I am just too cute to cut Even if I did you would blame these scars on her, him, him, and her, when it all really leads back to YOU So maybe, I am too cute to cut but I am not too cute to hurt; Scarred on the inside beautiful on the outside This pain I have inherited can’t be reversed; these scars I have endured can’t be restored Nonetheless I will never let these scars you have left diminish my beauty And as I look back on it now and laugh, I realize that he must not have known… That I am TOO CUTE TO CUT
