In Too Deep
I'm one month clean from purging today
The better I start to see myself become, the more confused I feel
I'm not sure if I'm ready to be happy
I've been chronically sad for three years and I feel numb to anything and everything
else
I miss the comfortability of sadness
I don't know how to feel anything other than pain
What hurts me the most is that I'm still trying to get over you and it's been two years
You don't care, you never did
You swore you could fix everyone
But not me
You broke me and you sit back and watch me silently die a little bit more everyday
Trust issues, eating disorders, flashbacks of abuse, a crushed soul
These are what I am made of
For a second you made me believe that you could accept me, scars and all
Once you realized you were in too deep, you vanished....for good
I have yet to hear from you
