A Too Familar Tap
Tap, Tap, Tap! TAP! TAP!
Stop, stop, please STOP! Stop the foot tapping.
We all know why the feet move and your fingers
click, click, CLICK! CLICK!
You are way past due, it least to spill your daily amount of
Chomp, CHOMP! and drink.
So stop, STOP, STOP! Lend me your mind, it least for a night.
Perhaps then the tap, tap, will be ended.
Silence, silence, SILENCE, my dear friend.
We can hear you down the hall
Spilling, spilling, SPILLING- precious cargo.
So once again stop, stop, STOP!
Yet all I hear is you- Tap, Tap, Tap, TAP!
