Too Far Away

I willed myself,

'get help'

My wrist hurt,

'Jay-bear'

My head hurt,

'Macky'

I let the tears fall

'Popa'

I reached for the phone,

'Sissy'

Too far,

'Bubby'

I cried out loud,

'I'm sorry'

I can't keep my eyes open,

'Hannah'

My eyes close,

"Goodbye'
