Too far gone
Five feet
And there I sit
Watching
Waiting
As if some power as to save me from such a fate
But Watching
And Waiting
Still became the earth
As if all was holding its breath
Four feet
And there I feel the world collapse
As if all that mattered was such
As if all that was real was there
Three feet
And there I remember
Everything that I could remember
Every hurt
Every pain
Every suffering
Every thought
Two feet
And there I think
Looking for anything that may yell at me to stop
Anything to look at me with pity
Anything to hold my hand through this treacherous desert
One foot
And there I look
Looking down
Looking up
Looking all around
And maybe
Just maybe
One foot
Wasn't too far gone
