Too The Girl I once Knew.

This is a poem to the girl that i once knew.

Too the girl i once knew, who had this beautiful light to her

who skin felt as soft as a babies bottom

who always wanted to be a different race

because she knew when she got older it would be no hope for

people like her (People of color)

too the girl who has this huge love for her dad, her face would light up like the heavens

too the girl who always had a caring heart

who would cry if she would loose friends

too the girl who knew nothing about this unwanted war she would have to fight within herself

unwanted lonely nights,

too the girl who would have never thought she would sit and cry in the dark late nights

seculded so no one could hear her

too the girl who use to be happy and always happy

TOO THE GIRL WHO IS ME, AND I AM HER.
