Too Good To Be True
Everything seems to be going by so fast; too quick.
A new connection that started 5 months ago now seems too good to be true!
It started small and simple...then it started to grow and didn't stop.
Two people who never met before just connected and I couldn't explain to you what made this so easy.
There's no labels to describe this connection...No matter how much I want to be in denial ~ this connection is beyond what you would consider just a friendship...
Based upon every interaction via in person, texts, calls, etc. from another person's perspective, they would call me absolutely absurd in my denials.
Though this connection is not stopping anytime soon...there are many barriers that cannot be crossed.
There are people that would and are not agreeing with me.
They say it's too risky and shouldn't have even started. :(
I know what I got myself into and I don't regret anything.
I get that there is a 5 year age gap and more life experience.
They say that I need to set aside my feelings so that I can see the red flags clearly - reality is that: my feelings are not in the way.
They say that I'm going to get hurt, or manipulated in some way.
They say that if they were truly a devout person in the faith then they would know better and would've stopped this before anything even started.
These people don't get or know him like I do; and it annoys me for them to make such assumptions!
