Too Late

She’s going to kill herself

Maybe not today or tomorrow,

But someday she will,

Before you cry “get a hotline”,

Know that we tried.

We tried so much,

But her heart has already died.

I don’t know whether she’ll use a gun or a knife,

Or if she’ll just pass time in a lifeless life,

But she is going to kill herself,

And I can’t save her,

I am no savior,

So I turn to one who is and I hear

NOTHING

I can’t save her,

Maybe HE won’t either,

She has already died,

She hardened her heart on the inside.
