Too late ... seldom

1 John 5:19 New English Translation (NET Bible)

19 We know that we are from God, and the whole world lies in the power of the evil one.

There they come running hoping to catch the latest train

All bunched together-molded to fit into a nook of shame

Some carrying sticks and stones and some are empty-handed

Some in good shape, it seems, and others dragging the stranded

Quite a group it seems just a collection of a group home-shaped stragglers

A fraternity of odd-balls screaming in silence to escape the self-made hassle

Somewhere left behind in time and space being over-filled with indifference

And now searching for a free-ride to a life without any type of hindrance
