Too Sensible for Heartbreak

I can't say I've ever been in love,

That's the life you lead when theres not enough,

And though I like to think there's someone meant to be sent from above,

My hope is my bluff.

Love seeme so tumultuous and out of touch,

I have too much to deal with to use my heart as my crutch.

But some days,

In the light of an afterthought,

I'll see blue eyes in the light of the sun's rays,

And its shine will be so bright I'll think I've been caught.

Worried and confused,

I feel my heart is bruised.

I was told once before,

"You are too sensible for heartache."

But with a heart this sore,

You'd think its heartbreak.
