TOO YOUNGIf I had

TOO YOUNG If I had my way, You would not be leaving. If I had my way, I would not be grieving. I just want you to stay, I want to touch your skin. I just want you to stay, So you can smile at me again. How I have dreaded this day, that I would have to say goodbye. How I have dreaded this day, I have no more tears to cry. I know you will be okay, I know who planned this date. I know you will be okay, when you pass the pearly gate. I bid you my last farewell, as you walk with the Lord. I bid you my last farewell, as you receive your final reward. Charlie, you were too young, so soon after birth. Charlie, you were too young, to leave this earth. You are in a better place, So how can we be mad? You are in a better place, but, we are very sad. Wait for us, We will be there too. Wait for us, when we come to be with you. Julie Reade 10-26-12
