A Tool For Survival

The waves roll over the sand on the beach

I'm content because I know better days are in reach

I may be alone on a deserted island

But what I possess is what keeps me surviving

What I possess cannot be bought in any store

What I possess has helped win wars

It has saved peoples' sanity

It has inspired others to look for good in humanity

Regardless of the circumstances, I am going to be ok

I have the survival tool that will get anyone through any day

I have hope.
