There is a discrepancy

Within these juvenile souls.

It is strange; shifting tirelessly,

As dark as sunburnt coals.

There is a huge amount of expectancy.

We give Them the controls

So foolishly, so easily.

Our minds remain unspoken, nowhere to console.

They take It so sweetly.

We are hypnotized like fools.

There is no empathy;

We are only Tools.

How much longer do We suffer

From the lack of laughter?

Do We ever get the chance

To get out of this trance?

Why are We so easily manipulated?

We haven’t even stipulated.

We can only drool.

We are only Tools.

There is no meaning.

What is the meaning?

There is no substance.

We walk the distance

Towards existence.

A road to nowhere

But a series of nightmares.

A pilgrimage to our deaths

Till we draw our last breaths.

Forceful Hands lead Us,

We are only Tools.
