Tooth and Nail
Heart beats fast
Mind won’t last
Trembling thoughts
Fears not fought
Shaking legs
Inward pains
Stomach’s fried
Mouth is dry
One step in
Nerves worn thin
Sitting down
Waiting now
Called on back
Hear the facts
Numb I’ll be
And not free
One whole hour!
Tortuous hour!
Anxious hour!
Longest hour!
Laying down
Heart does pound…
After doubt
Cavity’s out
