Toothpaste Mouth

This is one of my very first poems I wrote and I'm honestly proud of it.

When my words come spilling out,

I cannot change a thing

it’s like my words are toothpaste

flowing through the tube,

and once I say one little thing

I can never put my toothpaste back

into the bottle.

I have been writing poetry for 5 years now and I have a collection of over 600 original poems I've made. I submitted a poem to Appelley Publishing and was published in the 2018 addition of their poetry book. I love to read and write, and I have a cat and a hamster.
