On Top Of The World
I once knew someone.
he was strong,
kind,
helpful,
encouraging.
I dont know him anymore.
I cut him from my life,
so I wouldnt hurt him.
I told him.
He forgave me.
But there was someone else.
I spiralled.
But now I choose to be happy.
There are so many good things left in my life.
If he wants me back,
good.
But I can't sit here waiting.
I choose to be happy.
I choose to love,
to live,
to not be distracted.
Not be preassured into things I dont want.
I choose to slay my demons.
I choose to be on top of the world.
I wont lie,
it was not easy.
But if your lucky,
you realise,
theres no point.
From now on,
I come first,
my mentality is important.
My mental health is as important as my physical health.
So,
I choose.
I decide.
I pick.
I choose, decide, pick me.
Im on top of the world.
No one can stop me.
