Torch

She looks in the mirror and sees the flicker of a lighter. A tiny fire that burns inside of her brighter than the sun. How she can so easily destroy more than her own body, light rockets of rage and bombs of belligerence. Oh how also this small and mighty force that can bring warmth to a cold darkened pit, turning bread crusts into a toasty banquet. Passion the size of a needle prick can still bleed flames of change if someone believes in it.
