You are leaving me

Fleeting as the day goes by

Even though I've only known you for three weeks

It seems like I've known you forever

We have so much in common

Many things we could have talked about

But for me it is hard to open my mouth

And say the first words that would spark a great friendship

You are leaving

Do you want to go?

And be separated from me and the ones you love

It pains me that we just met

And you leaving throws me into an emotional reck

I don't want to be selfish

I don't want to be cruel

But I don't want you to leave this relationship that has yet set it's bloom

Even though you are going to be far away

I just want to say

I'm glad we became friends

And I will love you always
