The Torn Emotions of a College Student
Starting school again and I'm already beginning to regret going.
Why must I pay so much out of pocket for a piece of paper with my name on it?
Why is tuition raising when so many already struggle to pay?
Why does it cost less to live on my own then on a campus?
Why do student athletes receive more money than students with outstanding academic achievements?
These questions are circling around in my head at all times.
Who decided my families contribution?
My parents don't help me pay for college not one bit.
People don't understand the struggle of going to college in 2016.
Why should I even go?
My career and goals keep me going.
You cannot become a psychologist without a degree.
It's difficult to afford anything in this country without a well paying job.
What will my future children think of their mother?
My feelings towards school are so confused I can't think straight.
One thing is for sure, I'm returning for another year of college.
