Torn In Two

How long can one endure the torrent of hateful words and whispers all around? Lies written on the bathroom walls and the accusing looks that come from the people around me. I never did anything to any of you so why do you push me? Hit me? Torment me every day? Is it because I don't conform to your mold and because I don't want to be like everyone? I'm better off being an individual and regardless of the pressure, I will remain Me.
