tortoise

Like a tortoise

I have a tough exterior

Not easy to break

Not easy to be torn apart

For what i hold dear

Is far beneath

Covered in order to protect me

From the evils of the world

For showing my belly

Is too vulnerable for me

So i continue to walk

All 2 feet and one heart

Hidden away

With my shell made of clay
