Toughest Decision

What do you say to a baby you never got to meet?

That you are the best thing still to me.

That your mother loves you, even though it seems hard to believe.

Many things got in between

your arrival. School and life that haven't been yet foreseen

Making this decision to let you leave,

seems so selfish of me.

But if it counts you can live a better life that I dreamt,

in a place far better then where I'm kept.

Ever heard of the saying "Mothers' knows best"?

Well this abortion was for your best interest.

The best part of my poem to me is the orginiality and powerful subject.
