Toxic Beings
I realize now that you are a toxin in my air
That I love the way your fingers get caught in my hair
That you are a gallery of art
But you also hold a switchblade close to my heart
Please don't scream because it's not over
I was never good with tears streaming down your shoulder
Hold my hand until your cheeks are dry
Because I really never want to say goodbye.
