Toxic, but it wasn't love
During sleepless nights,
I pretend that the past was not real
It brings back how I used to feel
But never knew things would change so fast
I gave you everything but it still wasn't enough
It was never, enough.
You made me feel like I was nothing
You made me believe that I was difficult to love
And like a fool I kept trying,
I kept trying until I forgot who I am
I got in so deep that I lost who I was.
I knew it was toxic, but I never knew it wasn't love.
I knew it wasn't right
I couldn't help but try.
Now, you're not here and I'm alone
Trying to runaway from this pain that has grown
There's so much crying; I feel like dying
This one is for you
And these words aren't brand new
You already heard this when I was begging you;
To be happy even when you're with someone new.
Now, like in science
I conclude that love isn't what you see on tv
This is what it's like
This is my reality
It is not magical as they portray it in a Disney Movie
It's a lot of pain, and sacrifice.
One day you'll notice that you just keep on pushing
Until you bleed.
Let's kill this love
