Toxic Love

you lured me in and pulled me close

and I felt the touch of your nose

I fell in love

I was so damn dumb

for I never would have guessed

that your head was such a mess

you got so scared

and the burden I bared

to please you by the way I dress

I lost my friends and did all I could

but yell and scream you would

you tore me down

gave me a permanent frown

but I smiled when you were around

I felt so bad

for the love we had

and drank till I hit the ground

but now your gone

and I cant move on

because the truma is just too great

now everyday I cry at night

and sometimes wish i'd never wake

the pain I feel

is all to real

and may not ever heal

i cover it up

with several layers

and my life changes have brought so many haters

my insecurities rise

and i lose all my pride

and do everything i can to hide
