Toy

i am not a toy. i have feelings. i laugh and cry and love and hate. i am not a toy. my face isn’t painted. my smiles are genuine and my tears are real. i am not a toy. i don’t belong in a box. i don’t act only a certain way and have people be who they want me to be. i am not a toy. i can walk, i can talk, i can breathe. i am not a toy. i am not made of plastic. i am not hollow. I am human. I have a heart, I have a brain, I can do things on my own. I am not a toy. Why do you keep playing with me?
