i want to live

by the water,

by reflected sunrises

and cool nights.

i want to live

in the trees

far above the horizon

without the fear of falling.

i want to live

by the lights

strung above us

to illuminate our path.

i want to live

by the train tracks

because it reminds me

of better time.
