Take it from me, it is all a hoax

That a higher being will bring you hope.

If I had the power to persuade, I would take it all away.

Religion can be beautiful when done correctly,

But when it has the ability to cause hate and corruption,

It becomes nothing more than a lethal disruption.

Shoving thoughts, beliefs and ideas into an innocent mind,

Can lead to a miserable world that we will leave behind.

As society grows, our happiness decreases.

Using hatred to bond and religion to cure,

We become separated as humans, and we soon become unsure

Of what we believe, if we believe it,

Or blindly accepting just to recieve it;

God's gift of ensured paradise,

Or being trapped in flames forced to recognize

The error of your ways for all of eternity,

Gaining no redemption undeservedly.

Who has the right to tell us where we will go, or what to think,

When every human is riddled with imperfection at every brink?

We must join hand in hand as equals,

Without love we are barely people.

Find happiness within this life,

Or make it count in some manner,

For if we continue with all this strife,

How will we ever find the answer?
