Trafficked

Fourteen years old. Nowhere to go. A man drives by, Asks her to come inside. She complies. He whispers and coos, Says “I love you”. She willingly gives in To his charming grin. If only she knew the trouble she’s in. Next thing you know She is back in the cold. Dressed in almost nothing, Posing for cars, beckoning. The man forcing. When did she learn That she’s only worth a turn? Turning trick after trick For bums and pricks. Makes me sick! Who told her she is more? That she is worth fighting for? Not her teacher, her coach. Her parents didn’t even approach Telling her she is more than a roach. Now she can’t escape A life of being raped. Pimp always close by, Keeping a sharp eye, Making sure she doesn’t fly.
