Tragedy of Love

Throbbing in pain, the swell of a second piercing, renewed as pristine, the heart exhausts and reincarnates, pumping intervals hasten and slow, and heal with lines, until it hardens and calcifies, brittle and ever more vulnerable. To the social elites, the bare cultivators of earth, to a bud that has just tread along a new course of this stream, and the ancient who has felt it a many times, stitched over and under, across and diagonal, for repair until the other organs give in, a cyclic endeavor that doesn't tire, haunting every soul to feed its fire. - Jomur Islam
