Tragic murals

The tears I've shed, for the people who have fled

my life.

they all dry a different color.

black for the loved ones taken by death's hand.
red for romance short-lived.
yellow for friends I'll never reconcile with,

my face paints a mural
of the beautiful tragedy of love.
