Tragic Timelines

Our timelines ran perpendicular

with a single intersection.

But through the glass

looking to a different dimension

I continue to wander my world

while still wishing for your return.

Was I wrong in slowing down?

In a different route our separation

would have never germinated.

On that trial, if I were to leave

you behind, would we be fixed?

I’m sure I’ve given you my cells,

even if you weren’t aware of the creation.

Many have captivated

my mind and have seduced my hands.

Although in this plot, I want this path

to not end in tragedy.
