Trailblazer
It's a fuzzy feeling. A warm, passionate tingle.
Nearly intangible but attainable.
That's what love is.
Love(n)- An intense feeling of deep affection
Intense feelings tend to be obessions.
Obsessions can lead to down two very distinct roads.
One road is set with gold bars and trees made of diamonds that glisten in the rising sun.
The grass is greener than the greenest green imaginable.
It's sunset fills the pale blue sky with royal purples and deep blues with the
It's is comparable to the evergreens that never lose it's beauty.
It's comparable to an exquistite and complex symphony playing in your head just by imagining the person you are infatuated with.
It's your heart beating out of your rib cage, your brain going into overdrive and your lungs trying to keep up with your hard, sweet breath everytime they say your name for look at you with a lovingly glance.
The other road.
It's dirt, no one bothers to keep the upkeep. The trees are bare.
The grass is overgrown with weeds with various life-threathening bugs lurking in the shadows.
The sky is always a starless stormy night with the rain never letting up. A constant black to hide your scars and bruises.
The rain feels like bullets on your naked body, a feeling you may know all too well. Each drop taking a piece of humanity away from your dying, soul-less body.
It's comparable to the angst you carry in your heart everyday and it breaks more and more by each arguement.
It's comparable to seeing your mommy cry and daddy sigh in resignment.
Your brain is empty, completely silent when you hear your name whispered by person who once claimed to adore you.
It's fight or flight from here on out. Survival of the fittest.
The trail is a never-ending hell.
You try to escape but the demons pull you back to the start.
The lover treated you like royalty for a short time but now they've found a new lover and keep you around for giggles
THIS is not love. It's abuse and you are far from alone.
