Trailing Behind

Trailing behind thoughts not mine

Useless intentions worthless the climb

Seeking answers seem pushing away

Allowing mind's eye go wonder astray

Globe created sans restricting reigns

Glorious colors pompous they sing

Finding the rejected mania subdued

Clues misleading from the track of truth

Crying tears of hot crimson blue

Imagination tendering the key to view

World unlimited to mind’s own hue

Sensation of freedom and breeze bright new

Great and mighty lion cry to

Silent eagle humble fly through

River of pain reverse path belong from

Mountain tops righteous crumble up skyward

Falling into the place of soulless benign

Plodding in steps of soldiers lost time

Trailing behind thoughts not mine
