The Train

It never seems that loud

When you're sitting on the inside

The endless horn cutting through the frozen night

Only a muffled roar

Staring into cracks on blue leather

Washed out in harsh yellow light

Willing time to go faster

So I can see your eyes once more

Trying to stare through my reflection

Into dark, empty buildings

That fight against the wind I cannot feel

My mind drifts to you

What are you doing now?

Thinking about me on my way to you?

Seven stops left

Time moves too slowly
