Training Wheels
I was on top of the world when I learned to ride my big-girl bike,
Until I had my great big fall.
It shook me so badly I put my training wheels back on.
Then I met you..
You rode with me everyday
Helping me balance,
Giving me confidence,
Building my strength,
Making me happy once again.
You finally had me convinced that I could do it on my own again.
Little did I know, you wouldn't be there to guide me when I started getting wobbly.
As my anxiety rose and I fell,
I realized my second great big fall was the greatest of them all,
Because it was when I fell for you.
