Trains
I feel everything at once,
All jumbled and pushing into each other
Unable to sort themselves out
Frustration couples with anger
Love, doesn't exist
Rejection fills air contaminated by your voice
Like being stuck in a train station,
Stationary,
One train flies
past,
The next incoming,
beyond sight
The first train is gone
Never to return to the station
The second is looming
What is aboard is unknown
Moving quickly through the tunnel
Fast approaching
I am alone at the train station
Although people are waiting
And some are pushing past me
I am alone
The approaching train is mine,
What is aboard is unknown
Moving quickly through the tunnel
Fast approaching
All that is left to do is step on
Into the unknown
Unseen
