The Trampled Lily


There was a small lily, you trampled in your tracks. It needed warmth and light to grow. You picked up the pieces, bruised petals and pulled roots, and you brought her with you to your garden. With kindness and patience, You watered and waited. Then the trampled lily too did grow.
