Tranquil Appeal

It's all you've ever wanted It's what you never feel All around you see it You want it to be real It's so far from your grasp But you just cannot forget it It's gotten stuck in your head The thought that just won't quit It lingers with such subtlety That want That need With consistency It haunts you in your mind It screams And rings All the time Why is it intriguing? It has that strange appeal The thing you shouldn't want The thing you must conceal.
