The Transfer Student

People see me but do not know who I am, they pass by but to not care to say hello. No one is relatable to me, not here anyway. I am just a face walking through the halls the exact same way each day. No one cares to get to know me, I am alone. I keep to myself and watch as friends talk to each other, but not to me. I'm not isolated, just not fully included; it's too late for that now. I don't care to get to know them either, but life would be easier if I would.
