Trapped

Trying to move on but held by these chains

I have both hatred and love flowing in my veins

A difficult choice this has become

In the end after it all I'm left broken and numb

The grip is stronger chain by chain

It's amazing how I'm even still partially sane

How do you move from the past when the past won't let go

To whomever knows the answer please let me know

Just your average every day guy who is battling depression, anxiety and life in general. I write to get my negative thoughts out of my head and to be a voice for those who are not yet willing to talk about these diseases.
