Trapped

I’m stuck here in this room

And all I can see is him

His pictures are posted everywhere

Pictures of when we were happy

When he held me under the water

And we both got soaking wet

That day at my graduation

When he couldn’t take his eyes off me

The time we were at Wal-Mart

And my face hurt so bad from smiling

But I couldn’t stop myself

He made me truly happy

It had been so long since I was that happy

I thought we could withstand anything

But apparently we couldn’t

So now I’m trapped in this room

Reliving every moment we ever had

Every moment that made me happy

Every time he ever made me smile

Every kiss we ever documented

Every day that I’ll never get back

Stuck here looking at them all

As this room slowly fills with tears

Stuck here until every picture is ruined

Until they have been soaked through

And the ink has faded into the tears

Until I finally drown in my own sadness

And the last thing I remember is him
