Trapped

In this place of darkness
I am eternally lost
With no recognition
Of what I once was
A true depth of sadness
So beautiful
But so wrong

I could never imagine
What is the cause
This depression seems to have no end
And yet I can't find
The ones I used to love

I was once so happy then
And now all I see is demons
My true self is lost to the sickness
That is of my own design

In this place there is no direction
I can't see what's here
I find myself forever wandering
Never quite here

I was once so happy then
And now all I see is demons
My true self is lost to the sickness
That is of my own design
