Trapped

I want to write on my walls

So that I can recall

and look at all of my thoughts

Maybe then I will not want to rot

Maybe it will give me the key

To unlock the cell that holds me

as the prisoner

and I rarely get a visitor

when I do they leave before I can explain

what put me in this pain

I JUST WANT TO BE SANE

I'm always screaming for help

but It's silent because I cannot handle myself

and all of my petty stealf

Is it even possible to let go?

to drop the weight on my shoulders

and leave it so far behind

So I don't have to hide

So my smile doesn't have to be fake

So I'm not drowning in a lake

of my own tears

and rehearsing all my fears

To not be stuck in this hurt head

Oh no, I'm drifting again.
