trapped

I feel like I’m trapped, inside myself.
With no escape, no easy way.
To get out so I have, to make one myself.
So I try to claw my way out, but it hurts to do.
I try and I try, but I can't get anywhere.
The pain becomes too much to bear, too much to live with.
But I need to continue, for the most painful things.
Brings the best out from us, so I’ll live with the pain.
Throughout the day, trying to escape.
Crying silent tears, screaming for help.
But no one can hear, me asking for help.
Because I'm muffled, by my own heart.
