Trapped

It was a house, Not a home. It was lust, But not love. It seemed happy. It seemed innocent. I was numb. I was tainted. Like an impenetrable fog, Surrounding me, Choking me, I wanted to break through. I needed to be free, I needed to be heard. I was suppressed, I was kept silent. I was to be seen, But not heard. My thoughts were to never be heard. My voice seemed to not be heard.
