Trapped
Too many thoughts leads to clouded vision.
Constantly distracted, always indecisive.
Weighed down by a constructive lifestyle, I was born to be free.
Freedom is to watch the sunrise with sleepy eyes.
Shaking new hands, looking into stranger eyes.
Getting lost between cities and the sheets of my bed.
I crave to feel my pulse and my heat rise.
Singing with the wind, in a place I've never been.
Making mistakes but never on my knees asking for forgiveness.
I stand tall, even when I do wrong.
I run slow, just to watch the time pass.
I dream with my eyes wide open, of falling in love instead of falling asleep.
I need sweet words whispered to me with soft skin and light touches.
I want to tear the world apart just to build it back again.
I want to be on fire, I want to feel alive.
